Santo Domingo, Rep. Dom. – Yuniel Jimenez , known as “El Guajiro”, releases his new album entitled “La Verdad De La Vida” . This Cuban son album invites us to reflect with deep lyrics and praises to God, while we enjoy the authentic sound of the Tres Cubano.
The album features ten moving songs, all compositions and musical arrangements by Yuniel Jimenez: “The Call,” “Prayer for Cuba”, “The Truth of Life,” “The Enemy,” “Thank You,” “Man Does Not Live on Bread Alone,” “What’s It Worth to You?”, “The Love of God”, “Heal Me” and “Let Them Call Us Crazy”.
Yuniel Jimenez, originally from Santa Clara, Cuba, came to New York with his Tres Cubano and a little piece of his homeland. Since 2012, he has shared his experiences through his music. His first single “Un Guajiro en Nueva York” became the title of his first album. In 2015, his second album “Hay Gente Pa’ To'” captivated a diverse audience. In 2017, songs like “La Malicia” and “Hay Gente Pa’ To'” conquered the city of Medellín, Colombia, staying at number 1 on the Latinastereo radio station for more than six weeks.
Currently, the songs from her second album are very popular on social media, especially among salsa dancers around the world. Songs like “Hay Gente pa’ To'” and “Juliana” have become favorites.
Yuniel has collaborated with artists such as Ricardo Arjona, René de Calle 13, and Albita Rodríguez. In addition, he has participated in the film “Vivo” and the musical “In the Heights”, recording Tres Cubano. In November 2024, Yuniel released his third album “La Verdad de la Vida”.
