Colombian-Venezuelan influencer Yohana Vargas made her debut at New York Fashion Week (NYFW), one of the most important catwalks in the world, in the fashion show of Spanish designer Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada.
Yohana Vargas walked the runway in a silk dress featuring an image of Ágatha herself, with embroidered eyes, nose and mouth, as well as a wig that imitated her hair. The garment was designed for spring-summer 2013 with the brand’s icons, and now it returned to the world’s capital in a retrospective collection that celebrated 15 years of Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada at New York Fashion Week.
“It’s a dream come true. My first time at New York Fashion Week, walking for one of the world’s top designers, wearing the most special dress for her, as it featured her face. I had the privilege of closing her show and holding her hand. I can only feel grateful,” said Vargas.
Throughout her career, the influencer has earned the public’s prestige by showing herself as she is, facing life’s challenges and turning problems into opportunities. She graduated in Arts, with a major in film, from the Central University of Venezuela.
