Join the Gardenland Northgate Neighborhood Association and Mayor Pro Tem Karina Talamantes for a special Día de Los Muertos celebration at Northgate Park. Let’s come together to honor and celebrate the memories of our loved ones who are no longer with us.
Enjoy a vibrant evening filled with ballet folklorico, mariachi, dancers, and beautiful altars hosted by community organizations. As the sun sets, gather for a magical screening of Coco, surrounded by the warm glow of our community altars.

Immerse yourself in the magic of Día de Muertos as we honor our ancestors with beautiful altars, traditional music, cultural dances, art, and our recreated cemetary – El Panteón. This special celebration is a tribute to life, love, and remembrance, and we welcome everyone to share the beauty of our culture.
Admission is $5 for adults, and we gratefully appreciate any additional donations to help preserve our cherished traditions for future generations.

Día de Los Muertos 5k Race

North Natomas Regional Park
The race will be held at North Natomas Regional Park, it is a flat course held on the sidewalk which is a loop around the entire park. All ages and running/walking abilities are welcome to participate. Costumes are encouraged.
This is a fundraiser for the Azteca FC youth Cross Country and track program.

DAY OF THE DEAD NOV 2 10-3: Celebrate the magic of Dia de los Muertos at Fairytale Town! Little ones can craft vibrant sugar skull masks, listen to captivating stories, and get their faces painted. Families are invited to contribute to a traditional altar, adorned with marigold flowers and candles, honoring loved ones who have passed. With traditional music and dance party on the stage, activities take place 10am-3pm.
