Sara Selina, the powerful urban music and Latin pop artist, presented “Listen, Pt. 2,” a production in which each song comes from “a real place, without filters.”
“This EP is about the difference between just listening to someone and really listening to them. I am someone who deeply values being heard and understood. I am that friend that people turn to because they know I will truly listen,” said Sara.
The name of the EP came to him during a long conversation with his best friend, while they were working on the cover.
“We realized that every song is a message to anyone willing to really listen. Every lyric and every melody comes from a real place, nothing sugarcoated, no filters, no bullshit,” the singer-songwriter added.
The production is composed of three songs. “Warda” (Hold My Hand), is dedicated to all the women who want to feel special and to all the men who want to know how to make them feel that way; “Spiderman”, inspired by her experiences and dreams about what love should feel like; and “Now UR Gone”, about faith, hope and love that move mountains.
“The vibes on this EP are little fragments of my journey, mixing sounds from all the places I’ve been and the cities I’ve called home. I’ve included Afro, pop, indie, soul, and, most importantly, a lot of joyful energy I’ve picked up along the way. It’s a fun mix of sounds that is fresh at the same time,” said the artist, born in New York and raised in Panama.
