Santo Domingo, DR – Young singer Ryan Milo presents his latest single, Si Me Dejas No Vale , a renewed interpretation of a classic song that has left a deep mark on Latin music. Originally performed by Julio Iglesias in a ballad version and popularized in merengue by the group La Línea, this iconic song takes on a new life with Ryan Milo’s unique style, which was produced musically by Francisco Barbosa, better known as Paco Paco .
Ryan Milo, who has demonstrated his great versatility within the tropical genre, underlines the importance of preserving the original arrangement of La Línea, created by renowned maestro Juan Valdez, while incorporating contemporary touches that revitalize the piece. “We wanted to pay homage to the essence of the song and, at the same time, provide a modern sound that connects with today’s audiences,” explains the artist.
Since his 2021 debut with Cómo Olvidar: Back To The 90’s , where he paid tribute to great exponents of tropical music such as Juan Luis Guerra, Milly Quezada, Elvis Crespo and Olga Tañón, Ryan has continued to evolve and expand his musical offering. His first album, released by independent producer Zonido Network, also included his first collaboration with Milly Quezada on a revamped version of the song Entre Tu Cuerpo y El Mío .
That same year, he was invited by Elvis Crespo to re-record the hit La Foto Se Me Borró , releasing new versions in bachata, merengue and EDM. In 2022, he released Karma , alongside merengue singer Gisselle, consolidating his place in the tropical scene.
Recently, the artist presented his single Cuánto Daría , a bachata that attracted the attention of Fonovisa, bringing his music to new audiences and opening doors for northern versions, in addition to a collaboration with the group Vilax.
Si Me Dejas No Vale is not only a tribute to the musical legacy that has marked the history of Latin music, but also reflects Ryan Milo’s artistic growth and evolution. With vibrant energy and high-quality production, this new track is shaping up to be another big hit in his career. This merengue is distinguished by its intense musical arrangements, making it one of the most dynamic and risky he has released so far.
The single is now available on all digital platforms, through La Oreja Media Group , and its music video was filmed in the Dominican Republic under the direction of Marcos Salcedo. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this new musical gem from Ryan Milo.
