Lenovo Partners with Databricks to Accelerate “Smarter AI for All”

HONG KONG-Lenovo has partnered with Databricks to accelerate customer adoption of AI. As a Databricks Consulting and System Integration (C&SI) Select Tier Partner , Lenovo will work with customers to leverage enhanced data management capabilities, streamline access to data from multiple sources and remove barriers to successful AI adoption.

The offering is delivered through the Lenovo AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) and provides AI ideation-to-deployment solutions to enable customers to leverage AI in their organizations quickly, cost-effectively and at scale. Using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform , Lenovo will help businesses integrate data sources, enhance generative AI usage, improve data analytics capabilities and drive innovation. Offerings from the Lenovo AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) will help customers define outcomes and rapidly innovate on the Databricks platform to help organizations meet their unique needs.

Adding Databricks to Lenovo ‘s ecosystem of leading software vendors will help us refine AI for every vision and make the technology available to a wider range of customers.”

Starting in Greater China and Asia Pacific and then expanding globally, Lenovo offers end-to-end know-how in solutions and services for cloud, data and AI strategy, data platform modernization, data migration, pre-built code for rapid implementation, optimization, governance and audit management, and data management including AI and ML use cases.

According to Lenovo’s recent CIO report , most organizations struggle to quickly, effectively and securely deploy AI-powered solutions. To support customers worldwide, Lenovo has launched a comprehensive AI services portfolio, aligned with the five key AI adoption phases outlined by Gartner® . The Lenovo AI CoE aims to accelerate these services and use cases by leveraging AI to unlock the value of data, resulting in faster outcomes and improved efficiencies.

The collaboration between Lenovo and Databricks builds on a relationship that began in 2022, with Lenovo building its own enterprise-level global data warehouse through Databricks and foundational Azure services. The warehouse incorporates a common enterprise data model and 200 core KPIs, from traditional products and production to supply, sales and service, supporting a wide range of departments in the organization.

Lenovo, with experience in digital and intelligent transformation, is now Databricks’ implementation partner, delivering data and AI solutions based on Lenovo’s unique hybrid cloud infrastructure. The Lenovo and Databricks partnership will enable customers to leverage a modern data platform with streamlined data governance to accelerate enterprise reporting and analytics, and the adoption of AI applications.
