TOKYO-Kaneka Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Kazuhiko Fujii) (TOKYO:4118) opened its Tomatoh Manufacturing Site in the Tomakomai Tobu Area of Hokkaido, focused on portfolio transformation and business expansion. The opening ceremony was held on August 26. The Tomatoh Manufacturing Site is the company’s seventh domestic business location *1 and its first new site in 54 years.
The medical device factory *2 completed in the Tomatoh Manufacturing Site will produce “Rheocarna™” adsorption type blood purifiers and “Liposorber™” adsorption type plasma purifiers.
