After successfully breaking into the industry with “Gafas Bulgari” and “Rewind”, and collaborating with great artists such as Eix from Duars Entertainment and Chris Andrew, an artist from Wisin, on the popular remix of “Rewind”, Iza M is ready to release her first EP, as the best letter of introduction that brings together her essence as an artist.
“Day & Night” is an innovative project that explores her evolution as an artist in the urban genre, characterized by fusing reggaeton, trap and R&B. Composed of six songs, the EP contrasts two emotional states: the day, where she represents happiness and vitality, and the night side, which addresses heartbreak and introspection. This duality is framed in a poetic narrative that evokes the romance between the sun and the moon, offering a rich and multifaceted musical experience.
Tracks like “Cielo,” “100pre q nos vemos,” “5mpromisos interlude,” “TQ aquí,” “Otra vida,” and “El playlist” demonstrate Iza M’s versatility and ability to connect with a variety of emotions. Collaborating with producers like Ammunation, Jayfran, Moosy, Jone Quest, and Leandry Bec, she achieves a sonic diversity that complements her unique style. The lyrics, co-written by herself, Jayfran, Kayro, and Vasave, bring depth and authenticity to each track.
The visual side of the EP is equally relevant, with Kita as creative and art director capturing the essence of each song and the atmosphere surrounding them, and the outstanding work of director Luis M. Medina, in charge of the visuals and launch video.
