Grant Schmidt and Andrew Bean honored in ‘Best Lawyers Under 40’ List
DALLAS-Hilgers Graben’s managing partner of its Dallas office, Grant Schmidt, and senior counsel Andrew Bean have been named to D Magazine’s prestigious “Best Lawyers Under 40” list. This annual recognition celebrates the city’s rising legal stars, selected based on nominations from their peers and leaders within the Dallas legal community.

Mr. Schmidt has been named by the publication for the past five consecutive years for his commercial litigation practice. He joined Hilgers Graben in 2022 as the first Dallas office managing partner. Grant has extensive trial experience in disputes involving products liability claims, real estate, patent litigation, breach of contract claims, fraud claims, trade secrets, civil rights, white collar criminal defense, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and more.
Mr. Bean serves the Dallas office as senior counsel. His legal expertise is expansive, with experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a unique range of industries, including oil and gas, food and beverage, entertainment, and technology, among others. The honor recognized him for his commercial litigation practice.
Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Bean have both clerked for federal judges.
