RIYADH, Saudi Arabia-Exora, a global video game and commerce company, has announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Savvy Games Group (“Savvy”), Saudi Arabia’s “National Champion of Gaming and Esports,” to advance the country’s “Vision 2030” and create economic opportunities for game developers in the Middle East and around the world.

This strategic partnership will drive the creation of 3,600 new video games industry jobs by the end of 2030 to advance the country’s vision for the future of gaming and esports. It represents a significant commitment to the growth of video games for developers, publishers and players in the Middle East and around the world.
Under the MoU, the partnership will focus on several key initiatives including the establishment of the Exora Academy, an incubator and accelerator program to support local and international game development studios. The Academy will play a key role in nurturing talent and promoting game development as a viable career path in the country.
In addition to the Academy, the partnership will explore opportunities to host industry-leading video game events for business and consumers, fund game development projects, and facilitate connections between domestic studios and foreign investors.
Through this partnership, Exora will establish its regional headquarters in Riyadh and provide product, development, technical, customer support and business development services to help developers and publishers expand and grow their games across the Middle East and the country.
