In pertinent part, it announced a net profit which was down 48% “compared to H1 2023, primarily due to lower volume and mix, headwinds from foreign exchange and restructuring costs.” Further, the press release quoted the Stellantis’ CEO as saying, in pertinent part, that the “Company’s performance in the first half of 2024 fell short of our expectations, reflecting both a challenging industry context as well as our own operational issues.”
On this news, Stellantis stock fell by 7.7% on July 25, 2024.
